Hello everyone, My name is Eve. I am a Certified Yoga Teacher, and a Professional Massage Therapist. I can remember at a young age in order to stay up past bedtime for one more t.v. show my mom would have me and my brother massage her shoulders and feet. She was very particular about the pressure she liked and the strokes she wanted us to use, so she would guide us through the massage. I never dreamed at the time that it was the beginning of me perfecting my craft and I would someday become a Massage Therapist. It has been an interesting journey for sure. I started out teaching several aerobics classes per week and eventually put all my focus into learning yoga. I have 300 hours of training between Hatha and Vinyasa yoga.
I love helping people discover their inner self, and find the strength through their yoga practice to face this crazy world. I also have my Reiki 1&2 certification which I have used on a volunteer basis working with cancer patients. I saw how much the bodywork helped them to relax and I felt very fulfilled, but still longed to be able to give the patients more. That is the point in which I decided to pursue my training in massage therapy at Keystone Technical Institute in Harrisburg, PA. I completed over 1500 hours of training and received my Associate Degree as a Professional Massage Therapist. I have training in Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, sports, pregnancy, aromatherapy, MLD and several other modalities.
During my externship I had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients addressing a wide range of issues including chronic pain, tight muscles, trigger points, and just basic relaxation massage. I receive so much joy with each client I am lucky enough to massage. I perform each massage fully present and aware of the needs of my client. I am not just going through motions, but really tuning into what each clients body is telling me. I would love the opportunity to provide you with an excellent massage. I look forward to meeting you. Don’t forget to enjoy each day and live in the moment, savoring every second of this beautiful life! Namaste, Eve
