Hi, I’m Carly from Wigan, Greater Manchester.
I have been involved in sport since the age of 5 when I started a very successful and rewarding hobby as a gymnast. My gymnastics career lasted for 20 years and then as age took over I drifted into dance and performing arts, which I am still involved in.
Sport and the body has always been my passion and I hold a BSc (Hons) in Sport. When I graduated I worked as a Personal Trainer and loved the hands on approach. My career saw me enter the teaching profession where I taught Anatomy and Physiology at Level 3.
While I loved the theory side I missed the hands on approach so I found a Sports and Remedial Massage course and signed up for it. I loved it!! The feeling I get from helping others, relieving pain, and providing satisfaction and enjoyment with my own hands is awesome! I have since had the fortune of working for 2 seasons with a rugby league club providing deep tissue and sports massage; as well as private clients for both sports and remedial massage.
I came across Dr. Dot on the internet and knew that I wanted to be part of the team. I am delighted to be given the opportunity to be a Dot Bot, after all, they are the best in the world!
