Greetings from Oakland! My name is Tanisha. I am a Certified NMT, and licensed with the state of California. Ive been in the field of therapeutic massage for over 15 years. Ive always been fascinated with the field of holistic healing, and found that massage was my place in that field. Ive worked in both a rehabilitative and spa atmosphere. I enjoy both, but am a little more fascinated with the technicalities that are involved in rehabilitative therapy.
Im happy to be on Dr. Dots team because it gives me a chance to share my gift with musicians, artists, and their support team, who in turn continue to share THEIR gift with all of us. It’s a win- win!
I am an alumni of National Holistic Institute from the 90’s, and recently graduated from NHI’s advanced neuromuscular massage therapy program. I can effectively address specific injuries, and pain issues using a variety of tools. Much of this work requires slow deliberate techniques, and open communication. If you have the time, Im open! I am available anywhere in Oakland, and the surrounding Bay Area within a 2 hour drive.
