Massage in Orange County ( OC California)

Hello!  I’m Lauren, Dr. Dot’s Assistant for Orange County, California!  I’m originally from Philadelphia, PA, but when I graduated college I had to move somewhere with nicer weather!  So here I am, in sunny Southern California and I don’t know if I’ll ever leave (except for tours!).
For as long as I can remember I have loved giving massages.  Whether it was my dad making me work out the knots in his shoulders, or my grandfather having me “tickle” his arm, I have always known the power of touch.  Naturally, I became a Licensed Massage Therapist and couldn’t be happier that I get to help hundreds of people heal their bodies.
I went to massage school at the National Institute of Technology in Long Beach, CA.  I was lucky to have amazing, extremely knowledgeable teachers who helped me grow, not only as a therapist, but as a person too.  I specialize in Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, and Swedish massage.  I am also trained in Hot Stone Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Pre-natal Massage, Reflexology, and Chakra Clearing/Balancing.  Here’s what some of my clients have said about my work:

“Greatest massage ever. Thanks for fixing my back after I fell down the stairs (oops!)”
-Sarah Bos

“Lauren is more than a Massage Therapist. She is a natural healer, bringing love and positive energy into the lives of everyone she meets. Getting a massage from Lauren is truly a magical experience!”
-Lauren Silvi

“Best ever.”
           -Tucker Stewart of Cowalker

    I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Dot. She is an inspiration for all therapists in that she has significantly touched the lives of so many wonderful, talented people.  I look forward to working with you and helping you release the tension and stresses of your everyday life.  If you are in or heading to the OC, email me: info@drdot.com and write "Lauren/OC" in the subject line.

Peace, Love, and Rock N Roll!

Massage in Orange County California

Hi there!  I’m Sherry, CMT, N.C.T.M.B and I currently reside behind the orange curtain in Orange County, California.  Since 1996, I have performed therapeutic massage in different locales; day spas, medical wellness centers, chiropractic offices, private homes, & businesses, and I seem to be able to blend in and perform effective massage therapy wherever I’m needed.  This is why I’ve decided to embark within this new venue Dr. Dot has so masterfully created.

My love for the human body began when attending UCI as a pre-med major.  I had to move on and work full-time so I held a corporate position for 14 years.  During that time, I found myself offering shoulder rubs to friends and family just because they were so stressed out as my personality reaches out to help others feel better.  A friend asked if I had ever thought about going to school for massage because I seemed to really make a difference in her muscles and attitude.  Back then, I didn’t even know massage therapy schools existed.  I later found myself attending California College of Physical Arts in Huntington Beach and began working with a 125 hours under my belt on the weekends for a local chiropractor.  After attending night school to finish my AA degree, I found myself wanting to learn more  not only to take care of friends and family, but wanted to branch and touch more lives.  I needed to continue my education in massage to offer additional modalities to patients and eventually personal clients.  In 2003, I was out-sourced from my full-time corporate position, went back to school to complete my 500 hour certificate program, and recently became a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker.  I am primarily skilled in Contemporary Western techniques which include:

*      Deep Tissue Massage

*      Lymphatic Drainage

*      Pre-Natal Massage

*      Classic Swedish Massage

*      Sports Massage

*      Foot Reflexology

*      Psoas Release Techniques

*      Hot Stone Massage

*      Cupping Therapy

*      Ear Candling

*      Myofascial Release

*      Trigger Point Therapy

Music has also been a part of my life through many trials and tribulations.  My high school sweetheart and now husband introduced me to Ratt and Led Zeppelin while I was a total valley girl listening to Madonna and Depeche Mode.  Even though growing up, my family didn’t share their music loves, surprisingly, I enjoy all kinds!

Throughout the many years of being in the massage industry, I continue to take great pride in offering quality massages and look forward to helping you feel well and balanced.  Look me up next time you are in or heading to the OC! Email me: info@drdot.com and put "Sherry/Oc" in the subject line πŸ™‚

Cheers,

Sherry

Massage in Kansas City

My name is Gracie, and I'm a LMT in the Kansas City area. I've grown up mostly in the midwest but I spent sometime in Hollywood, CA before deciding to come back to the midwest in Spring of '07.

I recieved my training in massage therapy while living in California and graduated a certified therapist in our Master Program at CHAC.

Living on the west coast enabled me to study various healing arts from Reiki, Oscillation, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Pre Natal, Pregnancy, Childrens to Hot and Cold Jade Stones. I was also able to gain experience working in various environments: physical therapy, medical day spa, charity events, chiropractic, high end clientale/personal training, massage on set … to name a few.

I've always had an affinity toward homopathetic ways of healing whether it be through touch or herbs. Growing up I was enlightened to this natural medicine due to my mother's own homeopathic background. To this day I remember seeing my mom make medicine out of rattle snake skin. lol

Not that that was a regular occurence to have rattlesnake skin laying around, it only happened once, but it left a lasting impression on me how something so outrageous could be used to help someone. She definately was always coming up with different elixirs as well as herbs, food one could benefit from.

She also knew Iridology. So as you can imagine growing up I grew more and more fascinated with this way of life. I do plan to continue my studies in the near future.

I'm interested in Holistic Health/Medicine Wheel, Spiritual Counseling, as well as Metaphysics. My focus has always been geared toward energy work.

I really enjoy doing bodywork, I find it to be cathardic to help someone replenish themselves and to share this is healing for me as well. Apart from my interest in this industry I do enjoy many other things like art, music!, traveling, cooking, writing. If you're looking for a therapist who will not only help you theraputically but also someone you could talk to, I'm your girl!

I am avaliable for incalls as well as outcalls πŸ™‚

Thanks a lot for taking out the time to read my Bio, I look forward to working with you. Email me: info@drdot.com  and put "Gracie/Kansas" in the subject line and it will reach me instantly.

Love and Light,
Gracie

Massage in London (meet Sasu)

Hello I am Sasu I live in Surrey, outside London U.K. and have been a practicing Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage Therapist for 20 years. I combine massage with Kinesology and Reiki. I discovered the gift of my healing hands and intuitive nature while living in Morocco working in the hospitality business in 1988. I did my training in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1994 which is also where I learnt my English.

I used to work in the film industry as a Massage Therapist and am looking forward to getting back into working with thespians and performers and the world of back stage.

I was born in France and speak fluent French, Spanish and English and a little German. I love to travel and visit Argentina annually where I also go skiing.
I am passionate about motorbikes but haven’t managed to put my massage table on the back yet? Rock music swings my life since my teens.
I love dancing particularly to music with a good beat and ski to Dire Straits!

I am available for tours and festivals and looking forward to practice my skills on you. Just email me and write "SASU/LONDON" in the subject line to book me: info@drdot.com

Read some feedback about me:

Feedback:

12/04/08: "I wanted to let you know that Sasu is a FANTASTIC new addition to your team. She has AMAZING hands, and a highly intuitive touch. This is the best DotBot massage I've had yet.

I think Sasu was not expecting the musician schedule – we had her waiting for a couple of hours with no work, and then everyone came at once! Sasu, just so you know – that can happen. Musicians can be unpredictable πŸ™‚

Sasu, thank you for coming down – everyone said how wonderful your massages were, and we appreciated your time. See you next time in London!

And, Dot, thanks as always for the great massages πŸ™‚

Jamie"

Tour Manager of Everlast

Massage in Raleigh, North Carolina

Meet Rae, the newest member to the Dr. Dot massage team down South:

"Having a chance to blend 2 of my biggest passions is a dream come true, and I am ecstatic to be on Dr. Dot’s team!!

I was raised by hippie parents on all the right music—Beatles, Zeppelin, Moody Blues, etc.  Today you can find everything from Aimee Mann to James Brown to U2 in my collection.  I am a music fiend!  Much of my youth was spent watching MTV (when they still played music), and I mastered every Janet Jackson routine and Motley Crue drumbeat there was.  I decided early on that I was going to either be a rock star, or marry one.

The night I met my husband, he was playing guitar onstage.  Trying to impress him, I offered to massage his hands, even though I had no training.  I guess I did well, since we’re still together!  Soon after we met, I chose to leave social work behind for massage school.  My first day, a fellow student let me practice on her.  She told me it felt like I’d already been doing massage for years, and I knew then I had found my calling.  I spent the next 18 months learning massage, yoga, reiki, and anything else I could get my hands on.

Looking back, it now seems obvious I was meant to do healing work.  Growing up in an affectionate family taught me power of touch, and it seems from an early age I had a natural gift of intuition.  Using massage and energy work enabled me to heal my body and mind when I developed problems that doctors and medications couldn’t fix.  Now I live a full life without any meds, not even a multivitamin!  It is so important to me to continue sharing this gift with others, to help them take charge of their health.

My approach is intuitively and holistically based, treating your whole being.  I consider myself a channel, working where my hands are guided.  Each session is tailored to your specific needs, and I can provide anything from a soothing Swedish to an intense Trigger Point session.  If you need healing and I’m not available in person, I can send you Reiki as well.

Chances are, I’ll be at your show anyway, so it would be an honor to have you book me: info@drdot.com  (put "for CHANDRA/NC" in subject line).

Thanks, Rae"

Best Massage in Charleston, South Carolina

Our massage team is growing like a healthy weed. More and more qualified therapists (and Chiropractors too) email me every day and ask for a massage audition appointment. Naturally I can not accept anyone onto our team until they have given a massage demonstration and provided the massage certificates. Quality, not quantity keeps us popular. Meet Crystal, our new Dot Bot from SC:

"Hi! My name is Crystal. I am a licensed massage therapist in beautiful Charleston, SC.
I am a true Charlestonian, born and raised.
I graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in 2005.
 Also, I am NCTEMB certified.
I have a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology.
I also have worked as a nurse assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina.
My passion for helping people stems from the time I could walk: My mom always had me walking on her back until I can remember.
Once I became a LMT, I was fundamental in helping my mom with her chronic back issues..which furthered my passion for massage.
I could see the benefits of massage first hand.
This lead me to pursue other modalities besides Swedish and Neuromuscular therapy.
I studied Reflexology, Swedish-Thai, Aromatherapy and Hot Stone massage; as well as developed a love of yoga.
I try to incorporate all these great techniques into my massages to give my client the most beneficial results.
I hope you will book with me. Just email me at info@drdot.com

I look forward to all the great adventures to come where I can share my love of massage and my appreciation of music!
Take care and always remember to breath…
Warmly.
Crystal"
