Some years ago I went on a quest for creativity. My journey began at the Art’s High School in central Minnesota where I had the opportunity to share dance, music, visual art, and photography with a collection of young artists. I began performing with a small group of modern dancers, the energy of these performances was incredible, but I will never forget how sore my body felt after shows, new stages, and rehearsals! Wow, I had so much appreciation for massage therapy!

Soon after, I studied at Northwestern where my passion in anatomy and physiology became clear. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2003, and love being able to share this great work with others! I specialize in Deep Tissue, and Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian Massage). This type of bodywork is a wonderful blend of deep specific therapy, and circulation massage. If you have neck, shoulder and back tension: I’m your gal!

Hello, I'm Denise. I live in the Denver area, and originated from the Four-Corners of New Mexico. I’m Native American, a full-blooded Navajo. I attended Weber State University in Ogden, UT on a golf scholarship, moving to Denver in the spring of 2004. I attended and graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in December of 2005.

I am a licensed therapist and have been practicing for 5 ½ years. I specialize in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cranial sacral bodywork, structural bodywork, and sports & injury massage. I worked for Spa Struck, a spa resort in Beaver Creek, CO during the winter of 2007. I've had experience working with a chiropractor and currently working at a massage studio. I’ve held this position for 5 years.

My grandfather is a medicine man. His teachings have inspired me to follow his heritage while integrating new medical thought. Our touch is healing.

Hello! My name is Chyenna and I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist in the Phoenix area. I moved from Iowa the beginning of 2009. I absolutely love it here! I’ve been practicing massage therapy since 2006 and I fall more and more in love with what I do every single day! There is no better feeling that to know that every person I come in contact with not only looks forward to being in my hands, but leaves with a satisfaction that they can’t get anywhere else. 

 

I attended the Massage Therapy program at La’ James International College in Iowa. Soon after graduating I took the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Bodywork, became certified and jumped right into work. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, from high end spas to chiropractic offices, and have worked with an array of different types of clients, from field workers to MMA fighters, all of which have helped me develop, grow and learn. I’ve come to realize that I favor deep tissue work, but I’m also able to perform each massage differently to accommodate my clients’ needs. I realize that not every person needs the same type of massage, with the same amount of pressure, and work in the same areas. Each individual has their own tension areas and different goals for their massage. I strive to reach those goals. 

 

The modalities I’ve trained for are Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, chair massage, reflexology, hot/cold stone therapy, and several spa bodywork modalities including sugar scrubs, body wraps, spray tanning and more. No matter what you’re looking for, I’ll perform my best to ensure that you are able to attain a sense of well-being and health in the most enjoyable way possible!

Hi, my name is Mindy, and I am proud to be one of Dr. Dot's Salt Lake City Bots! 


As a graduate of Utah College of Massage Therapy's Professional and Master Bodyworker programs, the premier massage therapy programs worldwide, I am proficient in Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Structural Bodywork (including IntraCranial work), Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Trigger Point and Sports and Injury Massage. 


As a talent for music involves soul and body, I have a talent for massage therapy. Mechanical motions and superficial massage may make you “feel good,” but I merge my mind, talent and technique to bring extraordinary results. My knowledge of the body and how it works allows me to assess a need, then apply one or several of the types of treatment that will be most effective.
