Yes, the Pandemic has destroyed my business and I am groveling for help for my Son and I:
If you CAN help, please do. Here is the link to my first ever Go-Fund-Me:
I have been asked by HUNDREDS of Professional Massage Therapists in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia and New Zealand to let Concert Promoters and Touring Band managers know they do not want to work for “$1 per minute”. Many of them say the same thing “this rate is TWO DECADES old!” and “Why should we be backstage and only get paid when someone is on on our table? What about the time when no one is on the table?” and my favorite complaint was: “The postage stamp no longer costs Ten Cents. Gas no longer cost $1 per gallon. Inflation affects everyone. We want to earn PER HOUR. Not per minute. It is insulting!”
I agree with them 100%. It is not their fault that people are too busy to get onto the table for a massage. They do not get paid when there are no clients on the table. They SHOULD be paid per hour. Many top acts hire promoters to sort out massage service backstage. The Artists have no idea that the therapists are being paid so badly. Sometimes the therapists are backstage for 7 hours and only earn $45 because there was only 45 minutes of “active massage”. This is worse than minimum wage. This is called TAKING ADVANTAGE.
Please spread the word that Professional Massage Therapists spend thousands of dollars for their schooling, then about $400 for a good massage table and it is a slap in their face to expect them to stand around for FREE waiting for your crew to find time to get onto the table. They deserve to be paid PER HOUR as everyone’s time is worth something. Not just the artist and management. I am going to bat for these Therapists as I KNOW how hard they work.
They are worth every penny.
Thank you,
Dr. Dot

I have been working at a very exclusive high end spa for over 2 years. I am extremely passionate about the maintenance of one’s self and I believe that massage therapy contributes to a person’s overall well being for the mind, body, and spirit. I always work to slowly engage with the body to assess what it needs, working to alleviate any tension or pain. My style combines a mixture of Swedish and deep tissue techniques to provide a relaxing, yet effective massage. In addition to massage I am also licensed in Cupping and Medical Massage.

Hi, my name is Maria and I live near Dortmund. I have my own practice as a , massage therapist, acupuncturist, naturopath, chiropractor and osteopath.
I am able to offer you a wide range of alternative healing methods with a focus on the musculoskeletal system. I look at your complaints and illnesses from different perspectives and develop a holistic, individual, personally adapted therapy concept.
Since my childhood I have had the feeling that intuition is essential for helping and healing people.
In this business you need to have “that certain something” to be able to feel what the problem of a patient is and where it lies.
After my physiotherapeutic education with many further advanced education like manual therapy, lymph drainage and fascial dysbalances, I trained as a sports osteopath and as a medical practitioner. 3 years ago I started my own business and it was the best decision of my life.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Nela. I live in the San Francisco area and have been a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant since 2014. I fell in love with the manual therapy (hands-on work) of PT and then decided to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. I have always been asked what my style of massage is, because people have wondered how they can receive a similar massage as my technique is unique.
I would consider my approach to be focused more on helping to resolve a specific issue. I combine a variety of techniques including Deep tissue, Swedish, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Re-education, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, and some client education (ergonomic advice, stretching techniques, how to use a foam roller, etc.) to help alleviate pain and keep you feeling better longer in the most relaxing way possible. I would say I specialize in people living with chronic pain issues. Since becoming a Massage therapist I really pride myself in tailoring each session to fit your needs and complete my ultimate goal of making every session help YOU feel restored, reset, and rejuvenated!
Thanks for considering me, can’t wait to work with you soon!

I attended Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona in 2010 to pursue my teaching certificate in Yoga. It is there, where I was introduced to the massage therapy program. As someone who has always been interested in helping people, becoming a massage therapist along with a level 3 Reiki Practitioner, turned out to be a very rewarding career choice.
I have worked under the guidance of a famous Doctor in Scottsdale, Arizona for the past ten years. Therefore, I have gained a vast amount of experience in treating a wide variety of conditions. Every massage I do is unique, just like every person. I accommodate every massage to your specific needs. Looking forward to helping you feel at your best!

Bonjour,
My name is Véronica and I am a registered massage therapist. I have been doing this full time for more than 5 years now, working in collaboration with chiropractors, a physiotherapist and an osteopath – high end clinical experience.
My road to this career was long and varied – Travelling and living all over North America, first in Quebec, then Toronto, then South Carolina (Y`all!), Vancouver and now Montreal. I speak English and French fluently. I used to be a corporate travel agent and a full-time Mom (hardest job ever!), I have also been a choirmaster and piano teacher, but eventually, I realized one of my biggest dreams and trained to become a professional massage therapist.
I have been told I have the strongest hands of any therapist my clients have ever met. I have had lots of different wonderful people on my table, from weightlifters and big bearded tough guys to children and babies (the bearded ones cry the loudest). I do manage my strength though, adapting to each individual client’s needs. I believe that to be a good therapist, the most important thing is to have good communication with the person on my table. A good massage does not only depend on how skilled the massage therapist is, but it is also a partnership. You tell me what you want and need, and I give you the best massage of your life!
I was trained in one of our best schools here in Montreal, Kine Concept, in Swedish massage. I have since specialized in Deep Tissue and that is mainly what I do day in and day out. I have been lucky enough to be taken under the wing of Paul John Elliott, teacher of AIS (Active Isolated Stretching)- I have had the pleasure of assisting in a couple of his training sessions of high-end athletes and national-level physios.
Whether it is for one person or a series of massages- I can do up to 9.5 hours of straight massage.
I look forward to welcoming you onto my table.
Veronica
