Book me:info@drdot.com and write: "Muriel/San Francisco" in subject line πŸ™‚

Muriel was born in Santa Monica, raised on the Central Coast of California and Bishop/Mammoth Lakes.

She attended college at San Francisco State University. While in junior college she had a full load of classes plus did dance performances and went to massage school. She has worked on as a massage therapist for over ten years in chiropractic offices, day spas, and as a in home massage therapist. She truly enjoys the pampering part of her job and pays attention to the details like heated table with lots of extra padding, heating pad to warm up key areas, tucking the sheets around the hands and feet, and a hot towel on the face.

Muriel is passionate about massage and individual health. Her massage is based in eastern philosophy, utilizing acupressure, shiatsu, and stretching. She likes to help people understand the basics in how the body functions and ways to improve that function. With her time working in doctor offices she has seen that movement, stretching and enjoyment make for a better life. She started making custom adult hula hoops as a way to get people into their bodies and laugh.

People have said a massage with Muriel is a spiritual experience, that they feel open and refreshed, and above all else they felt nurtured. She looks forward to working with those that have a high demand life and providing them with a relaxing experience.

Raised in the rainforest of tropical Australia, I now live in snowy Tahoe, California. My father is a funk/jazz/rock pianist so I grew up surrounded by musicians, recording in the downstairs studio and practicing for the next gig. One of my earliest memories is of watching my dad play his moog synthesizer on stage wearing flared pants!

Every time you get a massage I plant a rainforest tree to create habitat for endangered species. To date I have sponsored over 750 new trees which are pumping out oxygen for us to breathe, sing, dance and create. I use high-quality oils, biodegradable cleaners and a fuel efficient car so your treatment is environmentally sound and luxuriously enjoyable.

I teach Hatha yoga and have been massaging for 7 years, have a degree in Environmental Science and am a certified Outdoor Recreation Instructor. My specialties are deep tissue & remedial massage. I also use swedish, thai, kahuna, shiatsu, reflexology, hot stones, aromatherapy and reiki techniques when needed. My clients are stressed out busy people, elite sports athletes, pregnant mothers-to-be, holiday makers, sports enthusiasts and people with injuries.

I'm available for backstage, before & after gigs, hotels as well as treatments at my cosy studio amongst the pine trees. 100s of people have commented mine was the best massage they have ever had. I look forward to to treating you like royalty.

Thank you for your healing, also thanks for your care of my wife – she was obviously moved & healed by your massage. – Pete, UNEP, Paris

So fantastically relaxing & still rough at the same time! Wishing it would never end. – Hannes, Professional Volleyball Player, Sweden

Best massage I've ever had! – Jase, Olympic Volleyballer, New Zealand

After graduating from Western Career College in 2008, I have extensive knowledge of and practice in diverse massage therapies, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Hot Stone, and Reflexology. My unique approach integrates the health and well-being benefits that Deep Tissue, Sports massage and Trigger Point therapy offer.

For me, working as a massage therapist was the next step in what has been a story of physical healing. I learned the benefits of massage therapy first-hand while recovering from a car accident in 2005. I suffered critical injuries – from head to toe, in addition to my heart and spirit. Like so many in this country, I had no health insurance, so I took it upon myself to discover alternative options to re-claim my personal health and well-being; part of that journey required self-exploration and self-acceptance, and part of it was inspired to explore natural, non-invasive ways to care for myself as well as others. Eventually, I decided to pursue a career providing direct client care for those suffering with various ailments, such as mental and physical stress, limited range of motion, and chronic pain, and I found my passion in life; through massage therapy, I have found opportunities to continue healing from my car accident, along with a powerful and holistic solution for supporting clients with physical complaints.

Part of the healing process, for me, has not only included overcoming my physical injuries, but also getting back to a place in life where I can celebrate all of life’s possibilities; that’s why I am a big believer in the healing powers of not only massage therapy, but also friendship, good food and drinks, and laughter.

Book me: info@drdot.com and write: "Lindsay/San Francisco" in subject line πŸ™‚

Hi! I’m Lindsay, born and raised in California, which makes me a true Cali girl! I graduated from Sierra Massage School in Clovis, CA with my degree in massage therapy. For three years I have been working full time as a massage therapist. Everyone has something nice to say about my technique and abilities, and though I may look small, I have powerful hands and an even more powerful drive. I love my work so I take pride in it, and you could not be disappointed in me if you tried.

My daddy raised me right and started me on rock n roll as soon as I was old enough to listen. I love my classics and my greats, the old and the new, and somewhere between The Beatles and Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd and Nightwish I found my true professional calling working for Dr. Dot.

I specialize in Deep Tissue, though my technique has a lot of Swedish influence so it feels like a massage, and not a visit to the physical therapist. Additionally, I am classically trained in Hot Stone, Prenatal and Chair massage. I have worked for beautiful spas, private practices and nail salons, the fancy and the grimy, and I have seen it all.

I would love to work for you and give you that fantastic massage you know you need. Book me, and you won’t be sorry.

Book me: info@drdot.com and write: “Christy/SanFrancisco ” in subject line πŸ™‚Β

Christy has been in the Healing Arts for 12 years. Structural Integration is the foundation and focus of her bodywork along with Cranial Sacral, Pre-Natal, Shiatsu and Thai. She is also a neck and shoulder specialist. She delivers her sessions with logical/intuitive intelligence coming across simultaneously both with strength and sensitivity.

The results are the unraveling of old fascial patterns, the release of core tensions, greater flexibility, lightness in the body, and sustainable long term healing. Christy works DEEPLY like a fine tuned surgeon and follows the patterns of tension as they appear throughout the body. Working systematically she lengthens and purifies the fascia, restoring movement to a new balance within gravity. Old traumas find release, overused muscles unwind….and the mind finds its resting point. The result? Balance, Integrity, Peace.

Hi, my name is Catherine, but many call me Catt. I live in beautiful Arcata, California, but do split my time between there and fabulous San Francisco.

I'm from Connecticut originally. I am graduated in 2007 from Touching for Health Professional School of Massage and Bodywork in Stockton, CA and am a nationally certified massage therapist. My modalities range from deep tissue, sports massage, chair massage, pregnancy massage, hot stone massage, and relaxation massage. I often mix modalities during a massage and tailor the session to each clients individual needs.

Music is just as much of a passion of mine, as is massage. I have worked in the music industry for several years. Holding various stage and office positions in concert and festival production. Dr. Dot has allowed me to mix my love of massage with my love of music. My passion gives me the drive to travel up and down Northern CA, between Humboldt County and The San Francisco Bay area to offer a therapeutic relaxing hand.
