Massage in El Paso, Texas

Hello all! My name is Melinda!

Originally a Midwest girl from Missouri, I’ve found myself in El Paso, Texas now for the last few years. I’m full of life, a goofball, driven, and professional all at the same time! After serving in the Army, then being a tattoo artist, then a police officer, I realized I needed a change of pace. So I chose massage therapy.

After graduating top of my class, I went straight to work at a therapeutic clinic and have been there since. I’ve built up a vast clientele and outstanding repertoire with them. I have also been responsible for getting the local music scene and tattoo scene involved in the benefits of massage. Struggling artists, and tattoo artists are often overlooked when they need so much work. My calling is definitely Deep Tissue and Trigger Point! I have the strength to really get into the muscles and work deep. I also practice Swedish, Pre-Natal, Chair, Sports, Myofascial Release, and combinations for individual needs.

My massage therapy teacher had called me the “black sheep” of the class. The “rebel”; and pointed me in the direction of the Dr. Dot team and mentioned that was more “my speed”. As soon as I read about Dot and her amazing team, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. How great to be able to give back to all the amazing talented artists that have given so much to their fans and the music industry.

When in El Paso; contact Dr. Dot for an amazing therapeutic massage experience! See “yall” soon!

Paul Booth tattoo’s Dr. Dot’s ASS (well, hip)

Paul, who normally never tattoo’s on demand or in color, or anything you ask him to, he is an artist who also does tattoo’s did me the biggest favor ever by taking the drawing I gave him and turning into my tattoo (not done yet, I have two more sittings to do for this one still with him). As I mentioned in my last blog about Paul (and Gregg Allman getting his tattoo by Paul), he only does tattoo’s freehand, no tracing and he picks and chooses who he lays his ink on, his everlasting artwork.

The Allman Brothers Band in NYC

March 23, 2009:

If it's REALLY important I can get up at 7am (when I usually go to sleep). Massaging Mr. Gregg Allman is REALLY important. Gregg has had massages from my team now and again, but this is the first time I got to massage him myself. I can't count the times he told me “this was the BEST massage I have ever had!”. I asked him if he likes Frank Zappa's version of his song “Whipping Post” and he said “I love it”. That is my favorite Allman Brothers Band song fyi.

Stop Bush From Taking a Last Stab at Endangered Species The National Environmental Policy Act is a safeguard that forces agencies to look before they leap, considering the environmental implications of federal projects. It guarantees that relevant information will be made available to the public that may play a role in both the decision-making process and the implementation of decisions.

But the Bush administration, trying to hastily shove the regulation changes to the Endangered Species Act through before it leaves office, is disregarding the safeguards put in place — its new Environmental Assessment completely ignores the impact of climate change and pretends there are no alternatives to changing the Endangered Species Act. Additionally, the administration is giving the public only until this Thursday — November 6th — to comment.

We'll be collecting comments to submit, please add your comments by Tuesday to ensure that they get there in time. Don't let the Bush administration ignore the impacts of its decisions just because it's in its final days. Take action now: Submit your comments today by filling in the information below.

Help protect the last 100 remaining Ocelots

Help protect the last 100 remaining Ocelots from the Threats Posed by a Border Fence

There are between 85 and 100 remaining in the Texas area This Fall, Homeland Security plans to build hundreds of miles of fencing between Texas and Mexico. This fence has grave consequences for the small populations of Ocelots that still remain.

Speak out now for the protection of the endangered Ocelot!

Many Ocelots travel from Texas into Mexico for water and to breed, and this fence will almost definitely disrupt this natural migration and could threaten the last remaining Ocelots.

An environmental impact statement released by the Department of Homeland Security stated, "Habitat loss and fragmentation especially along the Rio Grande pose a critical threat to the long-term survival of the ocelot. Efforts are underway to preserve key habitat and biological corridors necessary for ocelot survival."

YAY!! New Tattoo a big success

As predicted, I screamed for about 2 hours straight. The guys in the tattoo shop were having a blast winding me up. I told them “this has got to be the only thing that hurts worse than anal sex” and that got them all roaring with laughter.

Dan did an amazing job on my tattoo. I have to post before and after now:
