Aloha and Hello!

My name is Lisa and I have been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002. I was born and raised in sunny California; as well as practicing Massage, I also enjoy the outdoors, travel, yoga, reading, listening to music, and spending time with my husband and pets! I have extensive experience with clients of all ages.

My preferred modalities include: Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian) Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Stretching Massage, classic Swedish Massage, and general energy work that is incorporated into the massage. I believe in using the Breath to allow the client to assist their own selves in releasing tension, particularly that which is caused by stress or emotion. I prefer “full handed” massage that is simultaneously Therapeutic, provides a sense of Relaxation, and allows a client to move closer to a fully-balanced self. All massage therapy is specific to the individual’s needs at that time, and I am always open to suggestions.

I strongly believe in learning new techniques and networking in the Massage and Bodywork Community. I have plans in the near future to explore the following additional modalities: Cranial Sacral Therapy, Cupping Therapy, Integrative Stretching, Foot Reflexology, Watsu (water) Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy. I am looking forward to many more years of learning and practice!

Stabbed in the back. Lisa, LMT, from Phoenix can not be trusted

This is by FAR the biggest stab in the back I have ever received. I sent Lisa, my ex-Phoenix, Arizona (she is moving to LA) to massage Def Leppard last summer. She went, massaged the band and sent paypal and thanked me. She didn't tell me that Vivian asked her to come on tour. She went on tour and the whole entourage and band assumed I knew and all was well. But I didn't know.

The LIAR ^ (and I only take 20% . Most Spa's take 40,50, and even 60%!) She has been going to LA for a year now, massaging Vivian at his home and has never told me about any of this. Even though we speak on the phone rather often and email ever more so, she has never mentioned this to me. She was signed up to massage the Steve Miller band this Friday but canceled last minute telling me she is "in Ohio, at her Mothers death bed" and can't do the show. LIES. She is in TORONTO right now, with Def Leppard on tour . This came out accidentally from the Def Lep camp, as they all assumed I knew. This is a big slap in the face, because a month ago, Lisa called me crying saying she massaged one of my random, one off, clients at her home and he drove off without paying. She was hysterical and I paid $15 to an online firm to find the guys home address through his cell number and spent HOURS trying to find this man who betrayed one of my assistants. I posted ads, told my whole team, everyone's heart went out to Lisa. Now we can all see it was just Karma doing it's job. I want nothing to do with this traitor and she will now be going to court and paying the $5,000 fine for breaking our contract. I suggest you avoid her as well, these kind of people can not be trusted. Dr. Dot

Lisa hits Berlin

My friend Lisa , who I first met when I was 16 in Rockville, Connecticut, finally left the USA and came to visit me here in Berlin. It was her first time in Europe and we went nuts taking pictures. She took too many for me to post here, but here are a few.

< I just bought this stuff and Lisa was the first to try it. Better her than me.

 We HAD to visit the local Harley shop so Lisa could stock up on Harley t-shirts, etc, for the folks back in Vernon.

I brought Lisa to White Trash, we felt at home there. heh heh. ^

He BARELY speaks English, so they had the biggest communication problem I've ever witnessed. It actually gave me a flaming head ache listening to them "talk". DOH!

Lisa at Cafe Klo (Klo is a nick name for Toilet in German). Those silly Germans & their toilet humor. Everyone there drinks out of Urinals; you know those tiny ones you pee in when you're stuck in bed at the Hospital?

Lisa, the man magnet, had fun letting the local guys try on her new Harley Jacket. Schwing.

Our pal Roar showed Lisa around to things that I probably wouldn't have, like the Olympia Stadium. Nice shot.

WTF? ^ Makeup your fucking mind. Are you a Zebra, Ant eater, Horse, deer, Hyena, Giraffe?…..  Look at the cute Meerkat. I lingered here the longest, as I am a big fan of their show "Meerkat Manor ", they have their own reality- show! CUTE!

I am torn. I love to see Lions, but when I see them like this, behind bars, my heart aches 🙁

Lisa arrived during the Knut "mania". This little polar bear was abandoned by his mother and they Berliner Zoo was going to put him to sleep. So many people protested, they decided to let him live. When Shai, Lisa and I arrived at the Zoo at 3:45 pm, they told us, "Too late, no more Knut today" and we almost threw ourselves on the ground and had a temper tantrum. They didn't have that info on their web site (that you can only see Knut from 11am to noon and then again from 2pm to 3pm). We went in anyways (it cost about $20 to get in) and we had a lovely day anyways, so there.

  Dj Big Bear . Our favorite Karaoke DJ in Berlin ^ He has NO attitude, No ego, doesn't hog the mic or sing unwanted back up and he has the biggest song selection around. LOVE HIM!

Lisa, after 6, yes SIX double shots of Jaegermeister and a few beers, me and Shai. Lisa is made of steel.

Lisa's karaoke set list: "wanted dead or alive", "I've got friends in low places" and "Born to be wild". Nuff said.

^ Those bikes are ALL over Berlin. You call the number on the bike, give the operator your credit card info, and they unlock it over the phone. You get charged per kilometer. Strange, but practical.
