Snowed in, in NYC

This was taken 13 hours ago, it's much worse now. Now I can't even see my car at ALL. lol. I am grateful I have an apartment with heat. I try to imagine how the American Indians used to live in this weather. Must have been a nightmare. Counting my blessings and going to bed with pooh

Jimi Hendrix’s 67th Birthday bash in NYC ( BB King club)

So here are some pictures I took at the show…..

 Lance Lopez , headlining!

Me, Lance and Katelin before the show. I introduced Katelin to Lance online and suggested he let her play a tune during her trip to NYC and he did and everyone loved their jam.

Lance's last minute set list^   (which he forgot in dressing room 🙂

Lance, who normally plays guitar, told me he learned drums first when he was little. He took to the drums to let little Tallan Noble Latz (age 9) play guitar and Katelin Deutsch (age 10) play bass, during a fucking ridiculously amazing rendition of VooDoo Chile. OMFG, they received a standing ovation. Respect!!

Lance Lopez in action (sorry, this one was taken with my crackberry ^)

Lance plays so similar to Jimi, if you close your eyes and just listen, you swear you're listening to the real thing.

I have heard many people try to play Jimi, but Lance, in my opinion, nails it the best. Hands down. He is on fire!!

Katelin in the groove! Tal Wilkenfeld better watch her back. Katelin is amazing and is NOT a snotty bitch like Tal. (this is not an opinion, it is pretty much a known fact, Tal is arrogant as fuuuuuuuuuuuck). tsk tsk, be nice to the folks on the way up as you will probably meet them again on your way down.

This one too ^  (Popa Chubby warming up backstage)

Lance's view of PACKED BB King club (full of lovely Hendrix fans, aaaaaahhhhhhhh)

The drummer (sorry, name slips my mind, but he was killer)

Pictures the German road manager + friend Wolf Haas

just sent me (he manages Lance)

Lance and I posing for some photos

This video is
from TONIGHT in NYC….You can clearly see Steven Tyler is still
getting along FINE with Joe Perry (Aerosmith is NOT breaking up)

The official Heavy Metal Book of Lists book release party

Eric Danville is a friend and my editor/boss at Penthouse Forum magazine (that host my sex column "Calling Dr. Dot").
Eric wrote this book here The Official Heavy Metal book of Lists, which I contributed to. The book release party was October 1st 2009.
It was a blast.. the book is SUPER fun, grab a copy. My pages are 106-109.

Since Eric is also my Penthouse editor I decided to come dressed in my Dr. Dot costume..

I brought my very close friend, Chrissi with me. She is always a million laughs (AND she loves karaoke too, just like me)

Got Milk?

From Left to Right: Cliff Mott (illustrator of the Heavy Metal Book of Lists), me and Eric Danville (author/editor/friend)

The book release party was held at the Double Down Saloon and it was naturally a freak show, as it always is in the Lower East Side, yes!  🙂

Massage in Manhattan, New York

If you want a massage from me, email me at info@drdot.com and out "Michelle/NYC" to reach me quickly 🙂

Hi my name is Michelle, I am a licensed Massage Therapist.  In 2002 I graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy with an Associates degree in Occupational Studies.  I believe that everyone can benefit from the healing effects of massage.  I always knew i would end up in a job helping  people.  I love that fact that i can give someone a massage and have them float off the table when I'm done!  I love what i do and i think that makes all the difference!  I am a professional from start to finish and can appreciate the needs of upscale clientele.

I am also a wife & stay at home mom to 2 little boys ( almost 3 and 18mos).  they make everything worth while!  I was born and raised in NY but I have traveled to a few really great places in my day.  I am a HUGE fan of all kinds of music. When I was 9years old (1988) my parents took me to my first rock concert, U2, and it was unforgettable. When I first listened to Dr. Dot tell her story in an interview I couldn't believe it!  She is absolutely living her dream and I'm very excited to be a part of the team!

I specialize in Swedish (relaxation), Deep Tissue and Medical Massage. My main goal is to take the skills I've learned and acquired over the years and use them to help people become pain free, well balanced individuals.  I am available for out calls, backstage, hotel, office and home.  If you'd like to float off the massage table too, book a session with me!

John Lennon’s bloody clothes?

A New York exhibit centered around the life of John Lennon will feature a paper bag filled with the late singer's bloody clothes from the day of his death.

The exhibit also includes handwritten lyrics, guitars, the piano from his apartment, a pair of “his trademark wire-rimmed glasses,” and letters recounting his battle against deportation in the 70s.

Widow Yoko Ono, who said she feared “criticism” for the exhibit, also said, “I know it's a kind of a sad and very poignant kind of paradox, I think, that he loved this place so much and this where he was killed.”
