I have studied many Massage Therapy modalities in my 18 years of practice. I listen to each client’s specific needs and goals for the session and I assess which techniques will best suit providing the most wonderful and effective massage possible. I may use passive or active stretching for mobility, deep tissue for targeted issues, Swedish massage for relaxing and creating stillness in the mind and body. Dr. Carolyn is an extremely talented Board Certified, Licensed Chiropractor and Massage Therapist who lives in her family’s beloved hometown of Buffalo, NY.
She practices primarily in the greater Buffalo area, but is also potentially available to work in the Rochester, Canandaigua, Finger Lakes, Syracuse, and Utica regions of New York State as well. Carolyn gives her Dr. Dot clients the ability to choose from several possible treatment options, offering a variety of different chiropractic and soft tissue massage therapies, either as separate individual treatments, or together as one extensive session, that includes a unique combination of both kinds of services.
Dr. Carolyn just recently graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College, after spending her last year interning at a number of different clinical rotations in Buffalo, including the Depew Health Center, Lighthouse Chiropractic Clinic, University of Buffalo student health center, and two Salvation Army community center locations.
Carolyn previously received a Bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Buffalo State College, with a major in Integrative Biology. However, she spent her last undergraduate semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy, enjoying a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel and participate in an assortment of dance classes.
Dr. Carolyn is well known for having such a remarkable level of enthusiasm, refreshing optimism, and genuine empathy, with every single patient she meets. Not only is she a wonderful person with an absolutely amazing drive to help people and extraordinary passion for making people feel better, but she is also an exceedingly smart and deceivingly strong chiropractor too.

A body therapist who is passionate about sharing his knowledge and
love for the power of touch. He believes touch is one of the most
magical gifts a human has to affect another. The power of touch is
magnificent in its ability to repair DNA (on a nuclear level) as well
as cure many pathologies of the body, the mind, and the soul. With
each and every session he enters his intention is to stimulate a state
of rest and digest so that the body may optimally repair itself. By
focusing on breath and on how the body is responding to stimulation he
is able offer a more specific and detailed session for his clients. He
begins and works each session by allowing the body on the table to
communicate what it needs and what paths/techniques he should take to
ease any blockages or tension in the body. He believes there is no
one-way to move energy around the body. “If I get out of the way, the
body will speak to my hands and the energy will guide it’s way to
repair”. Listening to what his clients communicate verbally as well as
listening to the body through touch will encourage one’s energy to
realign itself to its natural flow. Listening, whether audibly or
through senses is the ultimate sign of respect to oneself and another
and is vital in accomplishing the pyramidal connection of the mind,
body and soul.
Eric is a graduate of The Swedish Institute, College of Health
Sciences where he received a degree in Occupational Studies for
massage therapy, and is insured and licensed by the state of New York.

Hi there! My name is Shanna, and I am originally from New Mexico. I’ve lived and worked in the NYC, NJ, Long Island and Conn market since 2002. As a graduate of The Swedish Institute I have been a professional LMT since 2008. Healing others through massage has been a passion of mine for most of my life. Using Swedish deep tissue, Shiatsu, trigger points, and energy work as the back bone of my sessions, I have been able to meet the needs of a wide variety of clients. Dancers, singers, musicians, bartenders, chiropractors, business professionals…etc. I have a special place in my heart for artists and performers having grown up in a family of professional musicians, and I truly enjoy bringing healing to that community. Additionally, I have experience in sports injury, prenatal, lymph drainage and cancer patient recovery care as well.
