To book me please email bookings@drdot.com and write “Dr. Scott/Long Island/New York“ in the subject line 🙂
Hello, I’m Dr. Scott, Chiropractor from Nassau County, Long Island in New York. I have offices in both Queens and Long Island. Ever since I was a kid, rubbing my dads shoulders after a hard days work, I knew I wanted to make the body feel better. Then, at 8 years old, I felt my first chiropractic adjustment which would then place me on a path which allows hundreds of my patients to be pain free.
Upon completing my Bachelors degree with a concentration in Animal Anatomy and Physiology from Towson University in Maryland I continued my education at Palmer Chiropractic College in Florida, where I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic. Afterwards, I became certified in Medical Acupuncture to further my knowledge of the natural ways to heal the human body.
I’ve always had a passion for two things: Holistic healing and music. My experience being a regular gigging bassist for long hours performing on stage has made me experienced in the specific muscles and ligaments which are in constant strain, as well as other ones which are weak due to deactivation. I manipulate and relieve fixations within the spine by a variety of techniques, including Diversified Technique, Activator Methods and Cox Fexion/Distraction. Extremity and spinal soft tissue (muscle and ligament) manipulations are done by utilizing Graston and Active Release Technique. In conditions that include any type of psychological stress I’m currently applying color therapy as well as music therapy with my patients.
I take pride in my competency and consistent results in the relief of virtually any musculoskeletal pain. You will never play your instrument smoother and feel better on stage than how you will after my treatment.
To book me please email bookings@drdot.com and write “Dr. Marty/Long Island/New York“ in the subject line 🙂
Hi, I am Dr. Martin. Better known as Dr. Marty. I have been a licensed and registered Doctor of Chiropractic since 1992. Since that time I have been in private practice on Long Island, NY. I have always practiced diversified technique, with emphasis on maintaining flexibility through various stretching programs and techniques. I take pride in patient care and compliance to treatment protocols.
I am also a Registered Pharmacist and have been practicing pharmacy since 1982. I went to Chiropractic school because I wanted to find a more holistic approach to healthcare without the overuse of antibiotics and prescriptive medication that only treats symptoms and never addresses the true cause of a particular ailment. Further, I presently work with an elite boys under 18 soccer team. I provide medical care and have implemented a flexibility training program for the team. Flexibility is extremely important in remaining injury free, whether playing sports, working back-stage, or even performing on stage in concert. With flexibility comes strength and in recognition of this, I design job -specific flexibility programs allowing one to physically perform at his/her full potential.
In over 20 years of practice I have treated many conditions including neck and back pain, chronic headaches, jaw pain, as well as patients having pain in both the upper and lower extremities. I have also successfully treated shoulder, wrist, and hand injuries as well as hip, knee, ankle, and foot. I regularly attend continuing education seminars and remain up-to-date on the latest treatment protocols. I have had the opportunity to offer preventative care as well as lecture on the use of herbal preparations offering a more holistic approach to treatment and prevention of disease.
Finally, I love all kinds of music. I have studied music and played the drums since I was 6 years old. I am honored to be a member of Dr. Dot’s chiropractic team. I look forward to having the opportunity to treat you thereby allowing you to feel better and perform to your fullest potential pain free!!

Hi. My name is Evan and I love what I do! The short version: My massage is goal-oriented, yet artful. I believe in very deep work, and I can craft a truly unique and therapeutic experience.
The long version:
I have been massaging professionally since 2008, but in my mind, I have been massaging since childhood. I believe that when I was young, I developed a rudimentary understanding of massage by combining my fascination with anatomy, the desire to help and heal others, and the experience of feeling my dogs' muscles when I pet them! Because of this, I consider myself to have a very intuitive feel for massage.
As I grew up, the bodywork I received laid the foundation of my massage style. Before I ever had a “Swedish” massage, I had pretty much only had deep, often brutal work- chiropractic, real Deep Tissue, and even the full ten-session Rolfing series! Needless to say, the concepts and techniques that were new to me in school were all about the flow of a session, and developing the sensitivity to adapt my style to the individual. In other words, I learned to be more gentle, patient and methodical. However, I can still go as deep as you could ever want!
In line with being a heavily tactile person, I strongly lean toward the tonal and rhythmical aspects of music. Like most people, I enjoy a story! Instead of words, though (which I don't really hear), I like a song that is narrated by the melodies, like an emotional progression of tone. Put that against a richly textured sonic landscape and I'm in heaven. And that's why Frank Zappa is my hero. Mind blown.
I believe my experience with music and how it relates to massage is very interesting. The flow of a massage session is much like a musical composition to me. Some sensations are like a bass-line, while others are like the shimmering accent of the horn section! Properly played, a massage can be an engaging sensory journey just like a good album or a movie!
When you want to relax, feel better, and have an exciting experience of your body, book a massage with me!

Licensed Massage Therapist – Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Swedish, Reflexology, & Aromatherapy
Originally licensed in the state of Florida 13 years ago, Melissa is currently a licensed massage therapist in the state of New York graduating from the Swedish Institute December of 2002. She is a certified member in good standing of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Her accomplishments in the field of massage earned her the recognition of her peers and the chance to service the world’s most discerning clientele; Melissa is the recipient of numerous glowing “Secret Shopper” assessments earned for her work at Guerlain Spa at The Waldorf-Astoria, The Plaza Hotel, Trump International, Trump World, Trump Plaza, The Ritz-Carlton, The St. Regis Hotel, and The New York Palace Hotel, among other of New York City’s most prestigious venues.
Melissa’s passion for massage emerged after an injury from a car accident left her suffering with migraines, which massage therapy helped her overcome. Prior to that she was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Central Florida where she planned to study music performance. Melissa’s migraines interfered with her ability to study – she played the French horn – but her innate sense of rhythm and serenity eased her transition to a new career in massage therapy where she continues to shine.
A native of Puerto Rico, Melissa was raised in Orlando, Florida and now calls Brooklyn, New York home. Melissa’s confident welcoming demeanor and easy laugh are among the first things her clients notice – before they even lie on her table, they’re lulled into a state of calm that gently seeps into their stressed-out, overworked bodies and that lasts long after their treatment ends.
