Hello my name is Katy and I am a licensed massage therapist living in SC. I am originally from San Diego, but I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. I became a massage therapist in 2005 because I have always been interested in how I can best help those around me, and I also wanted a career that I could travel with and meet interesting people. I currently have my Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I find the combination of Eastern and Western philosophy to be extremely beneficial in the treatment of most clients. ​Having grown up in an artsy Southern town, music has played an extremely important role in my life. Surfing has given me very strong hands as well as an acute understanding of pain throughout the body. I have been told that I have a very special and aware touch.
