After working for nearly 14 years in the automotive industry as a certified technician and continuously breaking down my body, and after being laid off from what I thought would be my dream job after just 4 months, I decided to go back to school for Massage Therapy and Body Work.  My wife was in 2 car accidents within two weeks of each other and while she was undergoing physical therapy, we found that it helped with not only her current injuries, but past chronic illness (Fibromyalgia) issues as well.  I felt like it was time to start down a new path.  While I was in school, it felt like something I should have been doing all along and I’ve been told I have a natural knack for the healing arts.  I have several family members already in the healing field, but being called nurse or doctor didn’t feel quite right to me…
I am trained in many different modalities including, sports therapy, deep tissue, trigger, and reflexology along with a few Eastern modalities as well including cranial sacral, shiatsu, and acupressure.  I am honored to have the opportunity to serve so many wonderful people and look forward to working on the Dr. Dot team.

I am a fully qualified Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer, experienced in deep tissue and myofascial release techniques, trigger point therapy, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, shiatsu and exercise therapy. In addition, I graduated from college in Sydney-Australia where I decided to bring up many of my sports and fitness experiences becoming a professional health care practitioner also able to communicate effectively in four languages which are Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.

Passionate for anatomy and physiology I based my therapies on a combination of remedial massage techniques and the body’s self healing process, I help your body to heal itself.

Hello, I am Denise from Columbus Ohio. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since January 2005. I enjoy practicing different techniques including chair massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, Swedish, hot stone, pregnancy and sports massage.

I love being able to help people feel better without the use of medication. The benefits of massage are amazing, which is why I fell in love with massage. I am able to massage full time, which is wonderful. However when I am not massaging I enjoy being a mom and all the joys that motherhood brings. I also like helping my husband’s soccer team become league champs (for the umpteenth time).

I am very thankful for those around me for supporting my decision to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. Not only have my supporters helped me become the best therapist ever, but they also help keep me in touch with the latest and greatest bands that are coming to Columbus. Besides a great massage, seeing a great concert is ranked up there in the top with what should happen in a week.

I am very fortunate to have seen some of my favorites in concert, from Eric Clapton, Flogging Molly, Ringo Star to Violent Femmes, I love them all. Hello, my name is Racheal! Providing ancient healing arts for the artist.

Music has been my life from a young age and has shaped almost every part of my lifestyle throughout the years. Home away from home for the last almost 10 years has been the legendary First Avenue and 7th Street Entry, where I bartend, soak in music, massage and even perform. You can hear and see me taking the stage with my own band as well as any karaoke bar within reach. Combining my love of music with my passion for the healing arts is a necessary step in my career and it would be an honor and privilege to share my work with you.

My amazing education at Centerpoint School of Massage and Shiatsu focused on the intensive East/West program, which includes swedish, therapeutic, trigger point therapy, shiatsu techniques, cupping and Traditional Chinese Medicine. My knowledge and interest has expanded to include Thai massage, lymph drainage, pregnancy, hot stone, aromatherapy and body treatments. I integrate these healing therapies, working with clients to develop a personalized treatment based on their needs. I believe treatments can and should include rehabilitation combined with energetic meridian work for a deeply therapeutic experience.

Working as a massage therapist within a spa and chiropractic environment have fine tuned my practice and along with over 15 years in customer service, I am prepared for pretty much anything. Previous on location and band experience has included talent and their crew on a local Minneapolis level as well as national acts. My ability and willingness to adapt to any travel circumstance is a definite must in this line of work. Hey, there! Can’t wait to feel great? My name is Nicole and I’m ready to help you get back on your feet!

As a graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy and its Master Bodyworker Program, I’ve been given the tools and experience necessary to provide you with relief. To do so, I used a fair combination of massage techniques including: Deep Tissue/Swedish, Structural Integration, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Russian, Sports, Shiatsu, Trigger Point, Injury Massage, and Reflexology. I am also trained in and love giving Hot Stone Massage and Intracranial (a form of structural) work. Currently I also have almost a full year’s experience as a Chiropractor’s Assistant as of 2010.

I’ve always had a need for my hands to be moving and working, whether it’s massaging or tickling the ivories. As there is a need for music in my life, so is there the need to please others. That’s always been one of my top priorities. So, I am always willing to make sure my client’s needs are met to their complete satisfaction!

When I’m not massaging I enjoy playing the piano, 4-wheeling at my family’s ranch, hanging out with my family and friends, or just chillin’ playing some Sudoku. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Neuromuscular Therapist. I received my education from the Body Dynamics School of Massage Therapy in New Mexico and also The Neuromuscular Therapy Center of New Mexico.

I specialize in Neuromuscular Therapy. I have had fantastic results with many pathologies such as Sciatica, Carpel Tunnel, TMJ Dysfunction, Frozen Shoulder and Plantar Fascitis. I am also experienced in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone, Trigger Point, Cranio-sacral Therapy, Reflexology and Chair massage.

I can have a light, medium, or firm touch and still manage to give a deep massage. I consider each of my clients to be a VIP and it makes me feel good to be able to give them the best massage I can.

Prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, I worked for 20 years as an Emergency Medical Technician. I have also worked as an Emergency Dispatcher and a Volunteer Firefighter.

I knew that when I left my career in emergency services I still wanted to help people. I felt the need to do something less stressful and found that with massage I am able to help others de-stress without causing stress to myself. I enjoy helping people maintain good health.

Being apart of Dr. Dot’s team is such an honor as it will give me the chance to broaden my horizons on the types of music out there. I was a country girl with limited music exposure and these last few years of been a wonderful eye opener.

Hey there!  My name is Mandy, representing the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area.  I’m a licensed massage therapist who graduated Southwestern College in 2007 for Massage Therapy and Bodyworks. 
For as long as I can remember I’ve always had to have some kind of music going on in my life.  From the age of 6 I wanted to be a radio DJ.  When I got into my teens I started researching the job market and saw that being a radio DJ was not a very stable career, so I decided to go for my second love, massage therapy.  I’ve been massaging friends and family since I was little, and I’ve always had a desire to help people feel better and promote wellness without the use of pills and surgery.  When I was 16 I was watching VH1 I saw a special that featured Dr. Dot.  I was amazed that she had found a way to combine everything I loved into a career!  I said that day that I was going to be like her and kept her in my mind throughout the years.  I put myself through massage school and gained a lot of experience working in chiropractic offices to give me that edge on the medical aspect. 
I am definitely known for my deep tissue work; several of my clients come to me because it’s the closest thing to Rolfing that they can find in the area.  I also love to do Swedish and sports massage, reflexology, trigger point therapy, lymphatic and sinus drainage, and I am a Level II Reiki practitioner.

    My name is Lindsey, I have been Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist for 6 years! I was born and raised in Statesville, NC.  Massage Therapy is not just a job to me, it is my passion!
